∎ At least three years’ experience in working with accounts and administration department of development sector firms. Working knowledge of Tally and experience of Cox’s Bazar Rohingya context with donors like WFP, UNHCR will be an added advantage.

∎ Respectful to safeguarding policy.
∎ The candidate should have good knowledge on accounting practice, Income Tax, VAT and custom rules of Bangladesh. Have independent capacity to face different audits from Donor as well as Internal and External sources.
∎ Should be honest, sincere and have good team spirit and capacity to work under pressure
∎ Should have good command in both written and spoken English
∎ Should have excellent working knowledge of MS Office applications

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Good understanding of standard accounting and reporting procedures and ability to generate reports independently;
∎ Efficient in maintaining independent communication with donors (in English by email and other communication means)
∎ Develop good understanding of organization’s financial and administration policies and procedures, procurement procedures and other policies and practices
∎ Prepare all sorts of Vouchers of all transactions with proper supporting documents
∎ Ensure and arrange timely disbursement of fund cheques/cash flows
∎ Maintain General ledger, Cash & Check book, Advance register, and Petty Cash stock register, fixed asset registers, affix ID numbers, and keep track of items
∎ Perform and maintain banking related issues including Bank Reconciliation Report
∎ Prepare monthly financial report with necessary supporting and timely submission
∎ Ensure govt. compliance like Revenue Stamp; VAT & TAX deduction at source as applicable and deposit to Govt. treasury
∎ Capable in preparing budgets, budgetary control and any other financial reports
∎ Assist Annual external audit, reviews as well as internal financial monitoring
∎ Filling and preservation of financial vouchers, HR related files in a confidential manner
∎ Keep close contact with respective donors, communicate in English for reporting and other financial matters.
∎ Provide assistance to CFO and other projects of CNRS as and when required.
∎ Ensure compliance issues at any financial transaction.
∎ Any other activities as assigned

In collaboration with Helvetas, CNRS is set to implement the Agricultural Infrastructure component of WFP’s Resilience Program in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar. This initiative aims to strengthen community resilience by improving agricultural infrastructure, enhancing food security, and supporting sustainable livelihood opportunities for both Rohingya refugees and host communities in the region.
