Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the agricultural market infrastructure component at field level
∎ Supervise a team comprising construction supervisor, finance & logistics officer, database officer etc.
∎ Design and finalize implementation plans.
∎ Ensure timely implementation of activities.
∎ Overseeing the development, implementation and quality of the projects.
∎ Monitor expenditure based on the approved budget.
∎ Liaison and coordination with RRRC, CIC, DC, UNO, site management, sectors, and implementation committee.
∎ Ensure quality & timely reporting.
∎ Provide engineering support with project management procedure, apply best practices, standards and innovative technologies that comply with donor standards and processes.
∎ Undertake concept, preliminary or detailed designs (including drawings, masterplans, design calculations, cost estimations, technical specifications, Design, Drawings of the projects, BOQ/ Cost Estimation, Cost Analysis Details Schedule etc);
∎ Assurance of the quality of the works during design and construction, continuously inspecting the materials, undertaking tests and generally ensuring a high standard of workmanship and compliance with the specifications and relevant national/international design standards;
∎ Establish QA/QC plan of the project and ensure QA/QC during implementation phase by involving in direct site supervision, works inspection, etc.
∎ Establish Heath Safety and Environmental plan in accordance with donor guideline and /or other international standards.
∎ Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations.
∎ Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.
∎ Liaison with project stakeholders to confirm the current status of project elements, determine their level of input to the project; close Coordination with donor Engineering and SM/SD Engineering staff where required.
∎ Close coordination and Liaison with donors for preparing a monthly financial report and narrative report with necessary supporting and timely submission
∎ Any other activities as assigned

∎ The Project Coordinator cum Project Engineer will be the key responsible for the smooth implementation of the entire project and timely quality reporting according to deliverables & obligations. Key deliverables (with inputs from M&E, Database & Civil engineer):
∎ Monthly work plan (including procurement, distribution, implementation) Combined Monthly report
∎ Monthly Financial Report
∎ Project Visibility Plan
∎ Project completion report
∎ Quarterly narrative/ progress report

In collaboration with Helvetas, CNRS is set to implement the Agricultural Infrastructure component of WFP’s Resilience Program in Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar. This initiative aims to strengthen community resilience by improving agricultural infrastructure, enhancing food security, and supporting sustainable livelihood opportunities for both Rohingya refugees and host communities in the region.
