Education:
∎ BS degree in film studies, cinematography or related field.
Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven work experience as a Video Editor in the media industry.
∎ Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Avid Media Composer, Edius, Premiere, Lightworks, After Effects and Final Cut, Adobe photoshop & illustrator).
∎ Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
∎ Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity.
∎ Familiarity with special effects, 3D and composition
∎ Creative mind and storytelling skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Bangladesh Football Federation is seeking an experienced and talented Video Editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the standard and is suitable for broadcasting. BFF Video Editor should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story, Match highlights for social media platform. Top candidates will display natural leadership qualities with fantastic time management and planning skills. ∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ Edit raw footage into high-quality videos for digital platforms, including social media, websites, and online streaming platforms.
∎ Seamlessly integrate visual effects, graphics, and sound to enhance the overall quality and impact of videos.
∎ Ensure continuity, pacing, and storytelling flow in edited videos.
∎ Collaborate with content creators, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements and vision.
∎ Colour correction, audio enhancement, and other post-production tasks to refine video quality.
∎ Add subtitles, captions, and other textual elements to improve accessibility and engagement.
∎ Optimize videos for various platforms, ensuring compatibility and adherence to technical specifications.
∎ Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing and digital media production.
∎ Experiment with different editing techniques and styles to maintain freshness and innovation in video content.
∎ Maintain organized file management and backup systems to preserve project assets.
∎ Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and priorities.
