Job Context:
∎ We are looking for video editors. If you feel you fit the bill in the job description given below, send in your resume & portfolio without further delay.
∎ As the video editor, you will be expected to manage postproduction editing of video projects by using Final Cut Pro. Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video and audio recording and editing. Responsibility includes editing and assembling recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting. The material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Thorough knowledge of Final Cut Pro or similar commercial video editing application
∎ Proficiency in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier, Adobe After Effects
∎ Technical ability to create and edit screen share and live video
∎ Understanding of Frame rates and when to use high frame rates for slow motion
∎ Encoding videos for any required format and uploading to media sources
∎ Maintaining video equipment
∎ Organizing a redundant video workflow with a combination of cloud and raid storage
∎ Ability to accept and deliver footage online
∎ Able to take responsibility when needed for quality control
∎ Proficiency in Audacity
∎ Knowledge and understanding of motion graphics.
∎ Offer creative solutions for motion media projects
∎ Develop motion graphics for the web, mobile, social and video
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 20 to 32 years
∎ Academic requirement may be waived based on experiences and expertise
∎ Minimum 2 years of experience in video editing.
∎ Candidate must be responsible, dedicated and have a positive and enthusiastic attitude
∎ Must be skilled with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier Pro or other professional editing program
∎ Have good skills at compositing using After Effects or similar program
∎ Time-management skills
∎ Self-start, use resources efficiently, meet deadlines and provide progress updates to manager
∎ Maintain a professional and positive attitude when collaborating with internal and external partners
∎ Capable of working alone, as well as with a production team
Salary:
