• PhD degree from a recognized university.

• First Class (or equivalent CGPA) in both Honors and Master’s degrees from a recognized university.

• At least 10 years of teaching experience.

• At least 20 years of experience in research and academic administration.

• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.

• Proven leadership experience in academic administration (Dean/Chairperson/Director or equivalent).

• Good knowledge of higher education governance and regulatory frameworks in Bangladesh.

• Must fulfill eligibility criteria as per the guidelines of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• High ethical standards and professional integrity.

• Experience in establishing or leading a university will be an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership in academic, administrative, and financial affairs.

• Ensure compliance with policies and standards set by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh and the Government of Bangladesh.

• Promote excellence in teaching, research, and innovation.

• Lead institutional planning, governance, and policy formulation.

• Oversee recruitment and development of faculty and staff.

• Strengthen quality assurance and accreditation processes.

• Develop national and international collaborations.

• Represent the university in academic and professional forums.

• Compensation and other benefits as per university policy and UGC guidelines.
