Experience:
PhD degree from a recognized university.
First Class (or equivalent CGPA) in both Honors and Master’s degrees from a recognized university.
At least 10 years of teaching experience.
At least 20 years of experience in research and academic administration.
Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
Proven leadership experience in academic administration (Dean/Chairperson/Director or equivalent).
Good knowledge of higher education governance and regulatory frameworks in Bangladesh.
Must fulfill eligibility criteria as per the guidelines of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
High ethical standards and professional integrity.
Experience in establishing or leading a university will be an added advantage.

Provide strategic leadership in academic, administrative, and financial affairs.
Ensure compliance with policies and standards set by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh and the Government of Bangladesh.
Promote excellence in teaching, research, and innovation.
Lead institutional planning, governance, and policy formulation.
Oversee recruitment and development of faculty and staff.
Strengthen quality assurance and accreditation processes.
Develop national and international collaborations.
Represent the university in academic and professional forums.
