Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Experience Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in VAT, Tax, Accounts, or Finance.
• Experience in manufacturing or trading companies will be preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Sound knowledge of VAT Act and VAT Rules of Bangladesh.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Ability to prepare and submit VAT returns accurately.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain VAT-related records, registers, and documentation.
• Ensure timely submission of VAT returns and compliance with VAT laws and regulations.
• Calculate VAT on sales, purchases, and other transactions.
• Prepare VAT challans and coordinate VAT payments.
• Maintain communication with VAT authorities regarding compliance matters.
• Assist in VAT audits, inspections, and assessments.
• Verify invoices, bills, and supporting documents for VAT compliance.
• Reconcile VAT accounts and prepare periodic VAT reports.
• Monitor changes in VAT laws and advise management accordingly.
• Support Finance and Accounts departments in VAT-related activities.
