Minimum 12~15 years’ experience in any Oil & gas/power/ fertilizer industry as a valve repair technician.
Responsibilities & Context:
Bashundhara Oil and Gas Company Ltd., a subsidiary of ABG Bashundhara, is looking for a competent candidate for the Position of "Valve Repair Technician- Maintenance" at Hazaribagh, South Keraniganj, Dhaka.
Responsibilities:
The talent we are looking for will be the following experience:
- Responsible for repair and testing of various valves, including but not limited to ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, safety relief valves, non-return valves etc.
- Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, lapping, measuring, reassembly and testing of valves at BOGCL locations.
- Communicate timely updates to management, co-workers to ensure timely and successful completion of job responsibilities.
- Works closely with co-workers, management and safety coordinator to ensure compliance with OHSMS and other safety regulations.
- Prepares required work permits and liaises with operations to release equipment.
- Inspects equipment to determine extent of repairs required.
- Prepares requisition for spares and materials and withdraws from local store or arrange delivery from main stores.
- Tests to ensure operability and reports activities to supervisor/ engineer.
