Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ Overall Purpose: Working as an important member of a diverse team who are committed to serve the world`s most vulnerable with practical and compassionate care. The Vaccinator contributes to the reduction of excess morbidity and mortality due to disaster/outbreaks amongst FDMN through the provision of vaccination services.
∎ Project Overview: World Concern has been operational in Camp 20 Extension since early 2018 and Camp 20 since January 2020, with ongoing health operations providing quality promotive, preventive and curative primary health care with facility and outreach-based interventions in partnership with Medair, RRRC, IOM and other relevant stakeholders. In addition, World Concern have been implementing Nutrition and Shelter Projects in different camps to achieve the desired objectives set in its strategic plan.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Make requisitions for vaccines and vaccine supplements
∎ Arrange transportation of vaccines from the Upazila health complex to the health facility
∎ Ensure cold chain, including products in transit, in process, in storage, and in display
∎ Administer vaccines to the under 5 children and women of reproductive age as scheduled by the MoH vaccination calendar
∎ Maintain standards IPC protocols and ensure proper waste disposal
∎ Participate in the vaccination campaigns with MoH/WHO
∎ Keep EPI registers updated and ensure proper archiving of vaccine related records
∎ Prepare daily/weekly/monthly EPI reports and timely submission to the relevant stakeholders
∎ Manage EPI equipment - ensure that refrigerator is protected from dust
∎ Assist laboratory team in the collection of biological specimen as and when required
∎ Any other duties within his/her scope of work as assigned by supervisor
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 55 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 1 year as vaccinator/laboratory technician/phlebotomist/etc
∎ Experience in EPI vaccine programming. (Desirable)
∎ Bangla and Chittagong dialect is required
∎ Basic English
∎ Basic computer literacy (Desirable)
