∎ Suchana: Ending the Cycle of Malnutrition in Bangladesh project is led by Save the Children with the support of DFID and the EU. The Union Coordinator reports to the Upazilla Coordinator in close coordination with Suchana technical managers. S/he will be overall responsible for the supervision of the Field Facilitator as well as for the implementation of program activities at the community/Union level. UC will assist and maintain liaison with relevant GoB officials, local NGOs, Union Parishad Chairman and Member and other stakeholders.
∎ Job Location: Any Upazilla/Union of Moulvibazar District.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Act as a primary point of contact at the Union level for the Upazilla and Dhaka Suchana teams including task managers and cross-cutting technical managers
∎ Keep liaison with Union Parishad key personnel to ensure smooth implementation of the project
∎ Conduct and coordinate day-to-day field facilitation for successful implementation of Suchana projects planned under Pillar 1 through 5 including cross-cutting issues.
∎ Coordinate financial and administrative support for the Union teams for smooth and successful implementation of field activities within the stipulated timeframe
∎ Coordinate for ensuring technical support for the union team from the Upazilla and District leve; project team.
∎ Liaison and communication with different stakeholders at Union level
∎ Ensure all the Suchana activities carry out according to work plan deliverables, following organizational procedures, and with quality
∎ Ensure, organize, and conduct different trainings, workshops and communication and outreach events, etc.
∎ Regular and routine visits to the project beneficiaries under Suchana
∎ Ensure and support Union teams for day-to-day field facilitation for successful conduct any monitoring & evaluation data/information collection and ensure timely submission of technical reports.
∎ Ensure maintenance of electronic and hardcopy files, documents of Suchana and grantees
∎ The job description may be changed on the dynamic nature of the project.
∎ Any other activities as assigned
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years of working experience relevant including 1 year on the supervisory level in a relevant field.
∎ Good communication, Facilitation, and motivational skill.
∎ Understanding of local cultural languages.
∎ Abilities to undertake extensive travel to village level
∎ Effective computer literacy
∎ Having problem-solving and prompt decision-making capacity.
∎ Ability to work under pressure
∎ Having the non-discriminatory and gender-sensitive perception
∎ Willingness and ability to drive a motorcycle in the field as and when required; a Valid driving license is an added advantage

Salary: Tk. 28000 - 30000 (Monthly)
