Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
∎ Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to illustrate design concepts.
∎ Develop high-fidelity prototypes to demonstrate final design solutions.
∎ Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring usability and consistency.
∎ Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
∎ Ensure consistency across all design components and user interfaces.
∎ Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables.
∎ Communicate design rationale and decisions effectively to team members.
∎ Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, and others.
∎ Experience with prototyping tools like InVision, Axure, or similar.
∎ Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform design practices.
∎ Uphold brand standards across all designs and ensure brand standards are met within all-new creative projects.
∎ 2-3 years of solid experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
∎ Experience with responsive design and cross-platform development (desktop, tablet, mobile).
∎ Solid understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout.
∎ Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
∎ Knowledge of HTML/CSS and a basic understanding of front-end development practices.
∎ Strong communication and collaboration skills.
∎ Knowledge of UX research methods, user testing, and usability principles.
∎ Passion for creating user-centered designs that are both functional and visually appealing.
∎ Strong understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, color theory, and branding.

∎ We seek a proficient UX/UI designer to join the NidusLab team. The ideal candidate is responsible for the user experience (UX), user interface (UI) design, functionality, content, and customer journey of the website development; digital and UI design for marketing and advertising efforts; layout and coordination of enrollment marketing emails and landing pages; and general marketing support for enrollment-focused strategies and advertising efforts in multiple mediums (digital, web, video, social media, interactive, event, etc).

∎ Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Web Development, Human-Computer Interaction, Mobile Computing, Graphic Design, Software Engineering, or a related field) or equivalent education or experience.

∎ Experience:
∎ 2-3 years of solid experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
∎ Experience with responsive design and cross-platform development (desktop, tablet, mobile).
∎ Solid understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout.
∎ Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
∎ Knowledge of HTML/CSS and a basic understanding of front-end development practices.
∎ Strong communication and collaboration skills.
∎ Knowledge of UX research methods, user testing, and usability principles.

∎ Preferred skills: Experience in promo video editing and digital marketing, such as general marketing support for enrollment-focused strategies and advertising efforts in multiple mediums (digital, web, video, social media, interactive, event, etc.), is a plus.
