Experience:

• At least 15 years

• Minimum Master’s Degree preferably in Accounting/Finance/Economics, or MBA in Accounting/Finance.
• No Third Class, Division, or grade C at any stage of the educational level will be allowed.

• At least 15 years

• Age At most 60 years

• As per the Private University Act 2010, a candidate is required to have at least 15 years of experience in professorial teaching, administration or financial management.
• Those who served as a Treasurer at a university will have an added advantage.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 60 years, may be relaxed for exceptional candidates

Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology, the first design-based private university in this region, invites applications for the position of Treasurer

The appointment will be given subject to approval of the Honorable Chancellor of the University and the tenure will be 4 (four) years from the date of joining.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Overall supervision of the university funds, ensure recording of revenue and expenditure accounts. S/he will be responsible for preparing annual budget, financial management its discipline and maintaining accounts properly.
• Maintain Liaise with the Finance Committee and the Board of Trustees regarding accounts and finance related issues.
• Prepare Periodic financial forecasts to facilitate the long-term financial planning, report on the financial state of the university to the Vice-Chancellor and the Board of Trustees.
• Provide strategic policy planning and advice to the Vice-Chancellor and the Board of trustees to promote fiscal transparency, ensure financial sustainability and maintain compliance with university policies, procedures and government regulations.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Vice-Chancellor and the Board of trustees.
