Must-Haves:

  • Strong understanding of creative and skill-based art education

  • Ability to teach a variety of art forms including drawing, painting, design, craft, and mixed media

  • Familiarity with inquiry-based and student-centered learning approaches

  • Ability to nurture creativity, imagination, and self-expression in students

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Proficiency in integrating digital tools and visual resources into learning

  • Willingness to relocate to Narsingdi and commit for at least two years

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with Cambridge Lower Secondary Art & Design framework

  • Knowledge of digital art, illustration, or design software

  • Experience organizing exhibitions, competitions, or creative events

  • Ability to contribute to co-curricular and enrichment activities

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and educational technology platforms



Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

  • Plan and deliver engaging Art & Design lessons aligned with Cambridge Lower Secondary learning objectives

  • Encourage creativity, experimentation, and artistic confidence among students

  • Teach fundamental artistic techniques, visual communication, and design concepts

  • Guide students in creative projects using a variety of materials and mediums

  • Assess and monitor student progress through portfolios, projects, and class activities

  • Create a positive and inspiring classroom environment that values artistic expression

  • Organize art displays, exhibitions, and participation in school events

  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student development

  • Participate actively in professional development and curriculum enhancement

  • Contribute to extracurricular programmes and creative school initiatives
