Job Context:
∎ JAAGO Foundation Trust is seeking a highly qualified Trainer for the BIJOYEE project focused on Positive Youth Development (PYD) in partnership with CARE supported by USAID. This is a multi-partner project and expected to be a five-year program that aims to empower young people in Bangladesh to achieve their full potential through life skills training and employment opportunities, and to increase civic awareness and resilience to anti-democratic and violent extremist values among youth; strengthen youth participation in community improvements and decision-making processes; and improve the marketability and employability of youth to connect them to sustainable livelihoods and income generating opportunities.
∎ The Learner Mobilizer will work closely with the Area Manager, BIJOYEE project, JAAGO Foundation Trust. It will assess training needs, develop training materials, and deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to facilitate skill development, knowledge transfer, and behavior change among participants.
∎ S/he will also report the monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly training assessment compilation and necessary reports to the Area Manager, BIJOYEE project, JAAGO Foundation Trust in coordination with technical, financial and project teams. S/he will represent the JAAGO Foundation during high official field visits, training coordination and workshops, etc.
∎ S/he will be responsible for the training aspects of project implementation as per Details Implementation Plan (DIP) including training quality, evidence generation, and management of direct/indirect reports, and will also promote learning and innovation by adapting tools and systems, promoting data-driven, evidence-based actions, and building capacity to work in new ways.
∎ Qualified candidates with working experience in USAID projects at national and international levels are encouraged to apply.
∎ The position will require moving to project field locations as per the requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assess training needs and develop comprehensive materials tailored to the project's objectives.
∎ Deliver interactive and engaging training sessions that promote skill development and behavior change.
∎ Training Assessment and Reporting:
∎ Compile monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual training assessments.
∎ Prepare and submit necessary reports to the Area Manager, making sure that they coordinate with technical, financial, and project teams.
∎ Act as a representative of JAAGO Foundation Trust during official field visits, training coordination, workshops, etc.
∎ Execute the training aspects of the project in alignment with the Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP).
∎ Ensure training quality, evidence generation, and manage both direct and indirect reports.
∎ Promote learning and innovation by adapting tools and systems.
∎ Advocate for data-driven and evidence-based actions, fostering a capacity for new methodologies.
