Job Responsibilities:

• Review raw news footage by applying editorial judgment and identifying key visuals to ensure accurate, relevant, and impactful news storytelling.

• Edit video and audio content using Adobe Premiere Pro, Edius, or Final Cut Pro with transitions, sound design, and graphics to produce broadcast-ready, high-quality news packages.

• Assemble clips into structured stories by following scripts, rundowns, and newsroom guidelines to deliver clear, engaging, and easy-to-understand content.

• Maintain smooth sequencing and pacing through precise timeline control and transition techniques to ensure professional and seamless on-air presentation.

• Produce rough and final cuts by incorporating feedback from producers and editors within tight deadlines to support timely news broadcasting.

• Enhance video quality using color correction, sound balancing, and digital optimization tools to meet broadcast standards and improve viewer experience.

• Collaborate with reporters and producers by aligning edits with editorial direction and newsroom priorities to ensure accuracy and consistency in news delivery.

• Manage multiple assignments by prioritizing breaking news and urgent content to meet strict deadlines without compromising quality.
