Job Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a National NGO with Consultative Status with UN ECOSOC and UNESCO. It works for social and spiritual development of the human community. Founded with the motto of “Divine and Humanitarian Services”, over last 62 years DAM has been serving the human community for improved living conditions enhancing people’s capacities to maximally utilize their inner potentials. DAM’s current diversified works encompass multi-dimensional field programs and self-governing institutions in education, health and economies development sectors in Bangladesh.
∎ ‘Out of School Children’ Education Program as Second Chance Education (SCE) Program under the sub-component 2.5 of PEDP-4 aims to provide primary education through a flexible non-formal education system to 62,700 out of school children of 8-14 years age group implemented by Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) as an Implementing Support Agency (ISA). The second chance education program has operated under the overall structure of Bureau of Non-Formal Education (BNFE). Second Chance Education is a purposeful and systematically organized form of learning with flexibility in delivery, based on the requirement of educationally deprived out of School Children to complete their primary education cycle. The intervention have designed in an effort to overcome the barriers and challenges causing dropouts. Second chance education will play a crucial role alongside formal primary education mainstream.
∎ Head Office. Frequent field visit will be required.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ S/he will ensure the effective implementation of the project in line with the approved project proposal and budget;
∎ S/he will manage and supervise project team at field level those are working under the assigned projects;
∎ S/he will maintain linkage with Govt. and Non-Govt. service providers.
∎ S/he will have to conduct study/survey as per need of the project and prepare report for the donor and organization;
∎ S/he will facilitate to formulate project implementation plan together with team and other relevant stakeholders and execute as well;
∎ S/he will facilitate the capacity building activities including training, workshops etc. of the project stakeholders including staff;
∎ S/he will Prepare monthly fund requisition, progress report, case story, and other necessary documents as required by the project;
∎ S/he will organize day to day field activities according to the project action/operation plan;
∎ S/he will rapport building with the communities and strongly mobilize the project participants and stakeholders;
∎ S/he will maintain liaison with the donor agencies and meet donor compliances;
∎ S/he will perform any other responsibilities as guided by the supervisor (Program Head);
∎ Track project expenditure against respective deliverables and manage budget.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Contractual up to June 2023
∎ Diverse knowledge about Non-formal Education Project management;
∎ Knowledge on Conduct end to end recruitment including advertising, shortlisting, assessing, reference checks and offer of employment.
∎ Follow standard recruitment process ensuring fairness, transparency and competition including recruitment of short-term consultants.
∎ Ensure proper filing of personnel documents and maintain a digital archive of personnel documents.
∎ Ensure all HR policies and processes are in place and up-to-date as per Dhaka Ahsania Mission employee manual.
∎ Ensure proper record keeping of attendance and leave maintenance.
∎ Ensure recruitment process documentation with assessment sheets.
∎ Review/develop job descriptions in consultation with team leaders and ensure every staff has a JD in their personnel file.
∎ Ensure proper induction of a new employee following induction orientation. Review/update the induction time to time;
∎ Review and update performance management system and ensure timely performance appraisals.
∎ Ensure senior management Air ticket, Hotel booking.
∎ Official transport maintenance
∎ Organize, check and manage effective use of the office supplies and stationeries.
∎ Maintain a Management Information System (MIS) to keep data of all employee.
∎ Good Knowledge about Safeguarding policies specially on child protection, Gender and Harassment Policy.
