Job Context:
∎ Who we are looking for?
∎ We are looking for a highly experienced technical writer who will be responsible for preparing instruction manuals, white papers, case studies and articles with the main goal to communicate complex, technical information more easily. The incumbent will also work with Product Team, Development Team, Program Management Team and Sales Team to prepare all the necessary technical documentation required for ReliSource and its clients. The technical writing skills must include but not limited to: User Manuals, Product Installation Guides, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Request for Proposals (RFPs), Company Documents, Annual Reports, and Help Files. A strong sense of responsibility, accountability, proactiveness and good communication skills is a must for this position. Please DO NOT APPLY if you do not possess such skills.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Technical Content Writing.
∎ Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Writing.
∎ Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Writing.
∎ Requirement Documentation and other product documentation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience Requirements:
∎ 3-5 years of proven working experience in technical writing of product documentation.
∎ Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development.
∎ Experience and ability to use a range of visual presentation tools such as MS Excel charts, Tableau, Keynote, Prezi and some analytical & statistical software packages.
∎ Job Requirements:
∎ Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
∎ Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions, while working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
∎ Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
∎ Write easy-to-understand online help and product tutorials.
∎ Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.
∎ Create and maintain the information architecture.
∎ Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
∎ Participates in presentations and discussions at Technical Data Guidance Conferences, Technical Publications in-process reviews, Technical Publications Verification Conferences and Training Conferences.
∎ Meets with subject matter experts in order to ensure that specialized topics are appropriately addressed and discussed.
∎ Additional Job Requirements:
∎ Excellent writing skills in English.
∎ The ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
∎ Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
∎ A portfolio of technical writings will be an added advantage.
∎ Ability to relate with a diverse group of people.
∎ Strong aptitude to learn new technologies.
