Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline
∎ Medical Graduate, Masters in Public Health, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or any relevant discipline preferred.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ S/he will work with RISE global team, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and other partners to finalize clinical guidelines, develop implementation and capacity plan.
∎ Work closely with MOH&FW, Directorate General of Health Services, Directorate General of Drug Administration, other related directorates and target health facilities to ensure that all permissions for the interventions are secured.
∎ Support the team to ensure that all testing kits and medications are available at appropriate levels.
∎ Support the community sensitization team to develop easy to understand consistent messages on rapid test and oral treatment that can be disseminated at the community level.
∎ Support capacity building of hospital outpatient staff on updated clinical guidelines.
∎ Collaborate with professional bodies to advocate for self-test and rapid tests to be available closer to community.
∎ Develop strong relationships with key external and internal stakeholders including government officials, affiliated institutes, and partners working in the COVID-19 in Bangladesh and beyond.
∎ Take on other work responsibilities from time to time as required for program implementation.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 8-10 years professional experience in public sector, preferably Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
∎ USAID project experience preferred
∎ Familiarity with public sector hospitals, preferably Ministry of Health and Family Welfare structure and systems
∎ Experience in implementing quality improvement/quality assurance initiatives preferred
∎ Familiarity with Health sector program (HPNSDP) and operational plans preferred
∎ Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Bengali.
∎ Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary and multicultural group of colleagues and external stakeholders
∎ Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision
∎ Creative, flexible, and resourceful and able to cope with logistical challenges
∎ Ability to travel within Bangladesh at a short notice.
