Educational Requirements:
∎ Food Technology, Food Engineering, Dairy Technology from any reputed University;
∎ M.Sc in relevant subject is given preference;
∎ At least 3 years extensive professional experience of development projects and project management.

Job Context:
∎ Resource Integration Center (RIC) is going to begin a Program on "Adoption of Environment Friendly Dairy Production, Processing and Marketing" in processing microenterprise `Sustainable Enterprise Project (SEP)` in Munshigonj district under Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) with funding assistance of World Bank. For substantive implementation of this program the organization is going to recruit some competitive staffs as per following criteria:
∎ Duration: 1 year (extendable up to project tenure upon performance)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Technical Officer (Food Technology) will work under the supervision of Project Manager and his/her specific tasks are, but not limited to, the followings:
∎ Ensure timely and quality Implementation project activities;
∎ Identify and implement new/improved environment friendly food/dairy technologies and demonstration;
∎ Establish linkage with value chain actors for better profitability of Micro-enterprises (MEs);
∎ Assess training need and facilitate training in adoption of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000) by MEs;
∎ Assist team to organize meetings, training, workshops, seminars etc;
∎ Collect and collate data and ensure proper documentation of GMP, HACCP and ISO-22000;
∎ Effective liaison with BFSA, BSTI and other related organization
∎ Encourage MEs for dairy product diversification and other processing related activities
∎ Liaise with project support team at local level and provide technical support to MEs to grow;
∎ Maintain regular communication and coordination with technical team of SEP, PKSF;
∎ Intensive field monitoring to ensure proper adoption of GMP, HACCP and ISO-22000 by MEs;
∎ Ensure implementation of relevant environmental policies, guidelines, tools, formats and document progress, learning and best practices;
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by his/her supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years;
∎ Having knowledge on micro enterprise development, livestock farming technologies;
∎ Ability to work under pressure;
∎ Excellent networking, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
∎ Excellent communications skills both in Bangla and English;
∎ Strong analytical and report-writing skills;
∎ Excellent command in using Microsoft Office Package;
∎ Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds;
∎ Willingness to travel to, and work in, remote areas;
∎ Ability to drive motorcycle with valid driving license is preferred.

Salary:
∎ BDT 45,000 (consolidated) with other admissible benefits as per organizational policy.
