Educational Requirements:
∎ Hon's degree in Nutrition, Anthropology, Social Science, or any other relevant subject with strong Survey/Surveillance background.

Job Context:
∎ CONTRACT DURATION: 31st March, 2022

∎ LOCATION: Cox`s Bazar (All Side)
∎ CONTRACT TYPE: Fixed Term
∎ The Team Leader is primarily responsible for organizing survey activities at planning stage, assist survey deputy manager for successful implementation, support data collection in case of dropout and maintain coordination with relevant partners and departments.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Objective-1: Organize survey activities at field level.
∎ Arrange accommodation, Transportation and Financial issues for each team at field level.
∎ Ensure that all the equipment is maintained in good state.
∎ Ensure that protocols/ consent forms are strictly followed and implemented.
∎ Ensures all equipment is ready at start of day and calibrates measurement instruments on daily basis that measurements are taken and recorded accurately.
∎ Update mapping and household listing in each cluster in coordination with villages/ block leaders and key personals before data collection.
∎ Ensure the survey methodology, sampling procedure are being maintained properly.
∎ Manage the household's selection procedure and ensure all aspects of data collection are collected correctly.
∎ Check all questionnaires for completeness, correct possible errors with the surveyors before leaving each cluster, and train his team if any mistakes.
∎ Ensure technical support to the team.

∎ Objective-2: To ensure quality of the data collection
∎ Organize briefing meeting with his/her team before departure for data collection in morning.
∎ Ensure that interviewer delivers questionnaire interview and record the information correctly an consistently from household to household.
∎ Ensure the consistency and quality control of the data collected by the team.
∎ Ensure that the anthropometric measurements are taken and recorded in hard copy accurately.
∎ Ensure referral of all identified acute malnourished cases to the existing nutrition program in the camps.
∎ Ensure revisit the household with absent cases/missing data after checking plausibility.
∎ Check all Questionnaires before finalization and report to the survey supervisor.
∎ Regular communicate with survey supervisor/ manager and update.
∎ Provide necessary feedback based on plausibility report.

∎ Objective-3: Data and information management:
∎ Submit observation summary note to survey supervisor in each area considering the health, nutrition and socio economic structure, social practices and belief among the communities and target population including problem encountered and solution made during data collection.
∎ Hold meetings with the teams after their return from field.
∎ Proper use of cluster control form, anthropometric back up form etc.
∎ Checked data.
∎ Note and report the problems encountered to the supervisor.

∎ Objective-4: Ensure collaboration with other ACF departments and partners:
∎ Implementation of the surveys in collaboration with the local government authorities and international / national partners.
∎ Represent ACF organization on the field and act as a link between the organization and the community.
∎ Collaboration and collection of information from other potential partners in the field (NGOs, Health structures, community).
∎ Collaboration with ACF nutrition, Food Security, MHCP and WASH field staff & Departments of HR, logistics and finance department.
∎ Collaboration with logistics and finance department for supplying different material for the survey and field movement.
∎ Respect different local partners (population, Local authorities, other NGOs, community leaders).
∎ Maintain good relations between the team and the population; Respect ACF Charter.
∎ Objective-5: Support capacity building of program staff and ACF activities when no implementation a survey Specific Objectives:
∎ Assist program Manager to organize the on the job training for the newly recruited staff and volunteers.
∎ Periodic monitoring the quality of anthropometric measurement in GMP sections using MUAC scoring format and provide On Job Training (OJT).
∎ Data entry and cross checking of survey and program monitoring data
∎ Objective-6: COVID-19 self-protection and prevention of spread COVID-19 during survey
∎ Ensure COVID-19 protective measurement like Health Screening of Staff, respondents, child, record temperature, physical observation like, rainy nose, sneezing, red eye, rash, diarrhea etc.
∎ Ensure put on mask of respondent, child, measurer, put hand gloves and use hand sanitizer before and after measurement.
∎ Ensure disinfectant of measurement equipment with chlorine solution and use one MUAC tape for one HH
∎ Ensure to maintain social distance during measurement and interview
∎ Ensure must following the COVID-19 related SMATR guideline, WHO and GOVT. instructions.

∎ Objective-7: Proactively support ACFs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity
∎ Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies, asking questions and/or for support when necessary
∎ Implement all work related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, taking into account the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries
∎ Ensure the incorporation of gender equity principles in all policies and activities
∎ Encourage the participation of all genders in meeting and on committee;
∎ Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 6 months experience in emergency nutritional and food security programs (preferable).
∎ Experienced in nutritional survey (SMART, SQUEAC, KAP, needs assessments).
∎ Excellent communication skills in English (desirable) and local languages.
∎ Skilled as a translator both English-Local- Bengali.
∎ Ability to ask questions and listen without bias.
∎ Sensitivity to a local context.
∎ Clear and understandable hand writing, reliable and friendly.
∎ Good knowledge about the geographical location of Cox’s Bazar.
∎ Able to use tablet device for data collection will be advantage.

Salary: Tk. 55000 (Monthly)
