Arkay Multimedia Limited invites applications from energetic and pro-active individuals for the position of Supervisor - Outdoor Beautification and Development Coordinator Work.
Plan, develop and care for all our beautification and landscaping projects.
Ensuring that the day-to-day activities of the gardeners are being carried out as per schedule, routine and plan and work is carried out efficiently
Recruiting quality Gardeners and training them
Monitoring that each gardener is performing their daily routine job
Monitoring efficiency level of each Gardener.
Distributing daily work of gardeners so that optimum efficiency of work is achieved
Ensuring regular maintenance of our sites and replacing dead or missing plants with new plants.
Ensuring that Gardeners are wearing their uniform and raincoats when required and keeping track of their uniforms.
Setting up quality standards and ensuring we are up to the standard required.
Ensure regular watering is done. Creating and maintaining a weekly watering schedule.
Arranging watering trucks to ensure smooth watering of our project sites.
Ensuring regular hedge cutting is done and creating a routine and plan for hedge cutting.
Ensuring that height and dimensions of hedge are being followed as per company guidelines.
Ensuring grass cutting is done and creating a routine and plan for grass cutting.
Any equipment not functioning must be immediately repaired or replaced.
Must have inventory of all gardening equipment and must ensure that they are stored safely at the end of the day’s work.
In case of absence of staff, must recruit daily labor to ensure that the work is carried out smoothly.
Must have a passion for plants and greenery.
Must have leadership and commanding Skills.
Must know how to get the job done effectively and efficiently within the shortest time possible
Must be able to assess the present quality of our landscaping sites and methods to improve it.
Must ensure regular removal of unwanted plants, shrubs and weeds.
Must ensure regular booming and removal of dirt or debris or unwanted materials from our landscaping projects.
Must ensure that gardening tools including watering tanks, pipes, nozzles, rickshaw vans are repaired regularly and all items are useable.
Must keep track of daily gardeners attendance.
Must keep track of their in time to work and their out time.
Must have time management skills to ensure the gardeners are working effectively & efficiently.
Must be able to work at site for long hours under hard conditions such as rain or direct sun.
Must be able to work at night if and when required.
Must ensure that all gardening equipment’s are available to the gardeners.
Must visit sites daily to provide example to team members on how to work efficiently.
Work in field and come to head office for daily meetings.
Assist in preparation of work schedule and job assignment.
Budget and sourcing plants for replacement of damaged plants.
Regularly replace all damaged plants.
Ensuring that the condition of grounds and gardens meet the standards and quality of our designs.
Make sure that the health of landscape is at its best condition. Consult with horticulturist if there is bacterial attack on plants.
