Responsibilities & Context:
- Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ) as per working drawing.
- Analyze tender BOQ with Rate Analysis
- Document comparative statements between tender BOQ and consumption for the project.
- Incorporate site-required items into ERP and maintain tracking sheets.
- Co-operate the site regarding any estimation, rate analysis and bill preparation.
- Determine the minimum necessary material for project efficiency by cross-referencing inventory and ERP data to minimize current expenditure.
- Negotiate wastage percentages with the project team and adjust material provision accordingly.
- Ensure quantity and unit price alignment with budgetary constraints as per procurement requirements.
- Take proactive measures based on monthly material consumption reports if anomalies are detected.
- Obtain approval or acknowledgment from management for budget exceedances.
- Collect monthly material consumption quantities from the site and prepare reports by comparing quantities with BOQ.
- Update schedules for COP-listed materials based on MPS and prepare monthly summaries.
- Conduct site visits as required to cross-check work against approved drawings.
- Demonstrate required competencies and skills as per task requirements.
- Perform and complete ad-hoc assigned tasks as required.
