Additional Requirements:

Responsibilities & Context:
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements with relevant schedules, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and IAS standards.

  • Ensure timely completion of statutory, internal, and external audits, including financial and physical inventory audits, and maintain compliance with NBR and tax requirements.

  • Generate monthly MIS reports on liabilities, goods-in-transit, and advances, and assist the MIS team in preparing and monitoring the annual budget.

  • Maintain daily entries of bank transactions, journal vouchers, receipts, advances, salary disbursements, and provisional expenses in SAP with proper documentation.

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations, verify petty expenses, reconcile provisional versus actual expenses, and adjust discrepancies as required.

  • Update and maintain the fixed asset register in SAP, including asset capitalization, disposal, write-offs, and monthly depreciation runs, and ensure biannual physical verification.

  • Process local and import vendor invoices, including MIRO postings and GR/IR clearings, monitor vendor aging, and ensure compliance with TDS/VDS deductions and government rules.

  • Reconcile system-generated sales data with VAT return sales and ensure accuracy and timely reporting to the relevant authorities.

  • Record monthly loan and interest provisions, royalty and trademark charges, and intercompany pricing adjustments accurately in the system.

  • Review and post travel, daily allowance, and other petty expense entries, ensuring proper authorization and accounting control.

  • Prepare required schedules, statements, and supporting papers for submission to auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.

  • Coordinate and ensure timely payments to local and foreign vendors, consultants, and customs authorities while maintaining compliance with internal procedures.

  • Monitor and control all financial data entries within SAP, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and resolution of internal or external audit observations.

  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements in financial operations, ensuring personal and team development to enhance work efficiency.
