Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct financial analysis and provide insightful reports to support decision-making by the relevant stakeholders
∎ Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
∎ Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability
∎ Present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations
∎ Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts
∎ Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted targets and provide variance analysis
∎ Identify areas of improvement and work with stakeholders to develop strategies to achieve financial objectives
∎ Assist in preparing financial projections and scenario planning to support strategic decision-making
∎ Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and treasury management
∎ Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations
∎ Review financial transactions and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness
∎ Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets
∎ Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
∎ Monitor compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
∎ Coordinate with external auditors for the annual audit process and address audit findings
∎ Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and best practices to ensure compliance
∎ Support the development and implementation of the company's financial strategies and initiatives
∎ Provide financial insights and recommendations for business expansion, investments, and cost optimization
