• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in bond, customs, and commercial operations within the textile/apparel/garments industry — preferably in a composite or denim manufacturing company.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or a related field.·        
• Special training or certification in bonded warehouse management, customs procedures, or international trade compliance will be an advantage. ·        
• Strong working knowledge of bonded warehouse rules, customs procedures, BGMEA/EPB regulations, and import-export documentation.·        
• Hands-on experience with: Bond license processing (new, renewal, and amendments), In-bond and ex-bond operations, UD/UP management, L/C documentation and shipment coordination.
• Experience in handling customs audits and preparing responses and documentation.
• Prior interaction with government offices, including Customs, NBR, BGMEA, EPB, and Banks (Lien banks).
• Familiarity with ERP or commercial documentation systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local bonded goods tracking software) is preferred.

Position Purpose:

To manage bonded warehouse operations, customs documentation, and import/export compliance to ensure timely and efficient material movement and regulatory adherence for Jamuna Denims Ltd.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage all stages of customs bond lifecycle — licensing, renewals, modifications, utilization, and transfers between bonded areas (e.g., in‑bond to ex‑bond)
• Maintain In‑Bond and Ex‑Bond registers accurately and in compliance with Bangladesh Customs regulations
• Process bond‑related documentation: general bond, bond license applications, renewals, and amendments.
• Handle all matters related to bond licenses — obtaining new licenses, renewing existing ones, and updating as per customs rules
• Ensure full compliance with customs, BGMEA, EPB, and related authorities regarding bonded warehouses and operations
• Liaise with customs auditors and respond to audit queries, providing necessary documentation and coordination
• Oversee end-to-end import & export documentation, including L/C handling, shipment scheduling, UD/UP declarations, HS codes, B/L, CO, GSP forms, and retirement of documents.
• Act as liaison among suppliers, banks, freight forwarders, shipping lines, C&F agents, and insurance firms for timely clearance and release of cargo
• Maintain detailed records and statements of all bond-related transactions and customs declarations (UD/UP usage, bond util­i­zation, audits)
• Prepare annual import/export statements and UD consumption reports for internal and regulatory review
• Compile and submit schedules, ledgers, and documentation for customs audits or internal review.
• Draft audit response notes and support liaison between management teams and auditors.
• Work with factory, warehousing, commercial, logistics, and finance teams to plan and execute bonded and logistics operations seamlessly.
