• 10+ years of proven experience as a video editor, preferably in a digital media or agency environment.
• Proficient in using video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Extensive knowledge of color grading, sound design, motion graphics, Adobe Audition, Premiere Pro audio processing tools and plugins, Audacity, OBS, Steelseries Sonar.
• Good understanding and expertise of audio capture and screen-recording quality optimizations using tools like OBS, particularly noise removal, suppression and noise-gate settings, plus the post-processing noise removal and voice quality improvements in Premiere.
• Excellent sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics. Ability to work creatively within project constraints and deliver high-quality content.
• Portfolio of previous video editing work, demonstrating creativity, technical skills, and storytelling ability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong understanding of storytelling principles and visual storytelling techniques.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop editing.
• Expertise in 3D Animation design.

We are seeking a Senior Video Editor to join our creative team and produce engaging and high-quality video content for our clients and audiences. The following list of key responsibility areas (KRAs) and responsibilities you will take on is indicative, not exhaustive. You’ll have a reasonable workload that can assure high-quality results. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate an excellent sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics. Utilize creative skills to enhance project narratives and ensure engaging content delivery.

• Manage the post-production process, including editing, color grading, sound design, and motion graphics.

• Edit raw footage into polished and engaging videos that match our vision and objectives.

• Add sound effects, music, graphics, and other elements to enhance the video quality and impact.

• Oversee multiple projects from start to finish, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables.

• Ensure that all video content is delivered on time and meets the highest standards of quality as per company brand guidelines.

• Collaborate with videographers, producers, directors, and other creative professionals to deliver the best possible results.

• Provide feedback and creative guidance to junior video editors and assist them with their development.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in video editing and production.

• Manage and maintain video editing equipment and software, troubleshooting technical issues as they arise.
