• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Newspaper/Magazine, Satellite TV, Online Newspaper/ News Portal, Web Media/Blog

• Age At least 23 years

• At least 4 years of experience in journalism at a reputed TV station/newspaper.

• Skill in translating news content from English to Bangla.

• Experience in broadcast writing and news script editing.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of visual media production.

• Leading a news team, running a shift, and preparing a news rundown.

• Interacting with others and maintaining a conducive atmosphere in the newsroom.

• Ability to stick to a given deadline and fix any problem instantly.

• Overnight shift.

• Non-smokers preferred.

• Roaster-based duty (Minimum 4 Night duty), weekly night shifts as applicable for Job Position.

• Maintain standards in editing meticulousness, accuracy and fairness for TBN24.

• Analyze and capitalize various attributes and requirements of visual and digital media to strengthen editor`s position.

• Manage and produce news to present information with accuracy, flow, and within the time frame.

• Write breaking news stories as necessary. Thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment within a 24/7 breaking news cycle of TBN24.

• Design innovative and unique solutions to optimize routine news coverage.

• Monitor and use multimedia, nonlinear and alternative storytelling strategies to widen viewership base. Manage and edit contents to cater to viewers` requirement and provide detailed information for same.

• Prepare work schedule and deadlines and encourage team members to meet targets to facilitate timely news broadcasting.

• Administer technology backup such as computer graphics, stingers, maps, editor`s software to make news presentation attractive.

• Collaborate with Public Affairs colleagues on executive thought leadership, speeches, and announcements.
