Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Robot, Cypress, Playwright, Cucumber, SpecFlow, EggPlant, and other industry-standard tools.
∎ Write comprehensive test cases for various applications to identify defects and ensure software meets business requirements and user expectations.
∎ Execute test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and security of critical operating applications.
∎ Conduct database testing to ensure data integrity, validate data migrations, and verify backend processes using SQL queries and tools such as SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, and other industry-standard tools.
∎ Perform API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or REST Assured to validate functionality, reliability, performance, and security of APIs.
∎ Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, Bamboo and other industry standards tools to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.
∎ Utilize Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration within the CI/CD pipeline to ensure consistency and scalability of testing environments.
∎ Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance under various conditions.
∎ Manage end-to-end test cycles, including deployment, regression, and performance testing.
∎ Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and testing procedures to ensure transparency and repeatability.
∎ Work closely with the developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to track, prioritize, and resolve defects using tools like Jira, Asana, Redmine, Bugzilla, and other industry-standard tools.
∎ Adhering to established QA processes and guidelines to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
