Responsibilities & Context:
To provide specialized medical care to paediatric and neonatal patients, ensuring accurate diagnosis, timely treatment, and holistic management in collaboration with Consultants and the clinical team.
Diagnose and manage paediatric & neonatal patients in Nursery, IPD, NICU, and emergencies.
Assist Consultants in complex cases and procedures.
Provide timely interventions during emergencies.
Monitor patient progress and escalate critical cases.
Ensure infection control and patient safety at all times.
Work with nurses, residents, and allied health professionals for seamless care.
Support multidisciplinary management of patients.
Mentor and train junior doctors, residents, and nurses.
Participate in CME sessions and clinical discussions.
Support departmental audits and quality improvement programs.
Contribute to policy and protocol development.
