Responsibilities & Context:
Perform and interpret all types of routine ultrasound studies including critical USG and also Doppler studies with a focus on accuracy and clinical relevance.
Perform and interpret ultrasound studies with a focus on accuracy and clinical relevance.
Prepare detailed reports of findings and communicate urgent results promptly to referring physicians.
Review patient history and clinical information to tailor the examination.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of ultrasound machines and imaging software.
Monitor and ensure image quality, patient safety, and infection control during procedures.
Supervise sonographers or ultrasound technicians, where applicable.
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, audits, or clinical meetings.
Stay updated with advances in ultrasound technology and best practices.
