Having an excellent reputation in the field of Communication Strategy Development, Audio-Visual Production, SBCC/IEC Materials Development and Production, Community Mobilization, Event Management, National Level Campaign, Animation & Motion Graphic Production, Media Monitoring, Communication and other Social Research, Advocacy, Editorial services, SBCC/IPC Skill Development Training, Public Relation, Advertising & Media Buying. ∎ Visual Communication Ltd., is a profitable organization, is implementing a five year long project on Community Nutrition and Health Activity (CNHA) supported by USAID. Under this CNHA, Visual Communication Ltd. will work with different ministries specially MoHFW of the Government of Bangladesh (GoB) at the national, regional and local levels, to improve nutrition status though strengthening community health system and support the effective implementation of the Second National Plan of Action for Nutrition (NPAN2). This will work at multiple levels of local government institutions, specifically with the Nutrition Committees at the district, upazilla and union levels - focusing on community health system and strengthening Core Team approach and local nutrition-governance mechanisms. The project will facilitate developing solutions emerging from communities, government line departments, and from the private sector. This project will replicate proven best practices to scale up innovative local governance models for better nutrition outcomes by transforming UDCC to nutrition outcome. Digital solutions related to health and Nutrition services is one of the key strategies to improve nutrition. The project intends to impact on several of the core challenges faced by selected districts in North, Haor, Padma Basin and Coastal of Bangladesh.
∎ The Social Behavior Change Communication Advisor (SBCC Advisor) is entrusted with responsible for the strategic CNHA plan implementation, capacity building trainings, and community mobilization events. The incumbent is responsible to ensure the compliance of USAID and VISCOM`s policy/procedures in project operation and expenditure. S/he is responsible that all Partner Consortium members and project staff oriented and followed policies and procedures defined by the USAID.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsibilities and Tasks: Keep constant coordination with consortium member for smooth running of the project.
∎ Develop yearly work plan
∎ Proper guide for preparing financial budget
∎ Expert view on SBCC campaign to raise awareness and relay messages on CNHA
∎ Develop comprehensive communication tools and SBCC campaign materials using evidence-based theories and methodologies in close collaboration with program leads.
∎ Oversee the procurement process in developing requests for proposals, soliciting, selecting, and overseeing vendors providing CNHA services
∎ Responsible for the strategic CNHA plan implementation, capacity building trainings, and community mobilization events.
∎ Responsible for concept development and production of mass media outputs, outdoor, radio, mobile, social media, and project website.
∎ Provide training support to the Partners and support Project implementation team (if needed).
∎ Report to the Team Leader and collaborate with the Specialists to ensure that the communications objectives are clearly articulated, messages for target audiences are appropriate, with a focus on developing detailed content for mass media, social media, and print.
∎ II. Reporting to: SBC Team Leader of CNHA
∎ III. Working Condition: The position based in Visual Communication Dhaka Office with a provision of spending 10% of total time at field (if any).
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in designing, planning, and implementing SBCC implementation in national and community-level.
∎ Should have understanding of budget analysis.
∎ Familiarity with USAID policies and procedures.
∎ Demonstrated ability to coordinate closely with government staff and build their capacity.
∎ Proven ability to set priorities, multi-task, and work collaboratively.
∎ Excellent computer skills especially in MS Word, Excel and Power Point Presentation.
∎ Analyze Behavior models and research data for summarizing research brief.
∎ Excellent presentation and written English skills.
