Preferred Retired Army Officer, Security Officer, Security related activities.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
∎ Implement & manage the GE Security & Crisis
∎ Management program for the site
∎ Assume the primary responsibility for handling
∎ & reporting all security, emergency, crisis
∎ Situations/incidents
∎ Report security incidents; respond to and escalate concern reports as appropriate
∎ Participate in investigations into violations of policy or law as directed by SRCM or S/RSD
∎ Conduct initial incident investigation and
∎ Report security incidents in Gensuite
∎ Be a member of the National Security Council
∎ Provide accurate and timely site assessments to your SRCM and/or Business leadership
∎ Manage and maintain the Site Risk Assessment, Profiler, and Power Audits in Gensuite.
∎ Proactive assessment of site security situation to prevent incidents at site.
∎ Incident management and reporting
∎ Understand the Security environment in which the site operates.
∎ Assist the Security team in assessing Security Risk to personnel & assets
∎ Ensure there is a documented Emergency Response Plan for the site & an Incident Command Leader is designated
∎ Be a member of the Emergency Response Organization of the site
∎ Coordinate with HR & Business Leadership to develop a site Workplace Violence Prevention Response Plan
∎ Coordinate with Site leader to maintain the site Business Continuity Program Plan (BCP)
∎ Prepare and implement a site Emergency Response Plan.
∎ Ensure minimal or no disruption to business activities at site

∎ Coordinate communication of site-specific Issues and incidents
∎ Report identified SRCM program gaps/risks, incident trends, and improvement plans to business management and public relations as appropriate
∎ Act as a site liaison with government law enforcement agencies and local communities.
∎ Experience Requirements:
∎ Deep knowledge and proven experience in all facets of Project security.
∎ Ex Defense Forces Background preferred or desirable.
