Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Monitor and control packaging operations to meet production targets.
∎ Ensure cement is packed in appropriate bags (e.g., 50 kg) and efficiently loaded for dispatch.
∎ Address mechanical or electrical issues in packing machines and other equipment.
∎ Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
∎ Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
∎ Ensure equipment operates within environmental and regulatory guidelines.
∎ Ensure proper bagging and weight accuracy of cement bags.
∎ Inspect and maintain the quality of raw materials used in packaging.
∎ Supervise shift workers, including operators and laborers.
∎ Provide training and guidance for smooth operations.
∎ Maintain production, equipment downtime, maintenance schedules, and shift performance records.
∎ Submit detailed shift reports to senior management.
∎ Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely dispatch.
