Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong focus on e-commerce platforms. Proven experience in designing intuitive, high-performing e-commerce websites and mobile apps.
Skills: Expertise in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, InVision, and/or similar tools. Proficient in prototyping, wireframing, and creating design systems.
E-commerce Knowledge: Deep understanding of e-commerce best practices, customer behavior, conversion optimization, and how to design for both desktop and mobile devices.
User-Centered Design: Strong knowledge of UX research methods, user testing, persona development, and user flows. Ability to balance design aesthetics with usability and business goals.

Position Overview: The Senior UX/UI Designer will lead design efforts for e-commerce project, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Development, Marketing, and Data Analytics team. You will be responsible for driving the design vision, creating high-quality user experiences, and executing user-centered designs to improve the overall usability, accessibility, and conversion of the e-commerce site. This is a hands-on role that combines strategic thinking with execution, focusing on both UX research and UI design.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Design Projects: Own the end-to-end design process for e-commerce features, from research and ideation to design execution and iteration. Create intuitive, user-friendly, and visually engaging user interfaces.
User Research & Insights: Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions. Translate user feedback and analytics into actionable insights that improve the customer journey.
Wireframes & Prototypes: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to demonstrate design concepts. Ensure that designs are both visually compelling and optimized for user experience.
Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility, consistency, and alignment with business goals.
Brand Consistency: Maintain and evolve the design language and guidelines to ensure a cohesive experience across the entire e-commerce platform, while adhering to brand standards.
Design Systems: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a design system that streamlines design workflows and ensures consistency across product touchpoints.
Mobile & Desktop Optimization: Ensure that the e-commerce platform provides an optimal experience on both desktop and mobile devices, balancing design aesthetics with usability.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current on e-commerce design trends, tools, and best practices, continually refining and improving design strategies to enhance conversion rates, usability, and customer satisfaction.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment within the design team
