Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop customized solutions in the Ruby on Rails framework.
∎ Communicate with project managers, clients and other developers to design cohesive project strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment.
∎ Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully.
∎ Regularly communicate with US clients.
∎ Stay informed about relevant new technologies and drive their continuous adoption and integration into design.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 6+ years of experience (At least 3 years of experience in Ruby on Rails).
∎ Good in Algorithms, OOP, and Passionate in problem solving.
∎ Working experience with Ruby on Rails is a must.
∎ Working knowledge on various Ruby gems is required.
∎ Solid understanding of Ruby on rails MVC architecture and implementations, ORM and related features.
∎ Professional working experience on React, Redux Toolkit.
∎ Must have best practice on writing code, code cleaning, code refactoring.
∎ Working experience with Heroku will be given preference.
∎ Experience in developing web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a must.
∎ Strong knowledge in JavaScript fundamentals is a must.
∎ Strong knowledge of version control and package management is required.
∎ Good knowledge of integrating third-party APIs and services with Ruby on Rails application is required.
∎ Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors such as SASS/SCSS will be given preferences.
∎ Experience in developing and consuming RESTful services will be given preferences.
∎ Ability to create database schemas that represent, and support business processes is required.
∎ Knowledge of test driven development approach and Ruby on Rails application deployment in various servers will be given preferences.
∎ Sound Knowledge on Docker, docker compose, docker containers.
∎ Previous experience on Heroku and Heroku console
∎ Good team management/communication skill
∎ Previous experience on PostGreSQL.
∎ Sound knowledge on WSL/ubuntu, Jira, Agile
