Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science (MSc)
∎ Medical Graduate or Masters in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Public Health or any relevant discipline preferred.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ S/he will work with USAID, finalize direct implementation plan, and prepare weekly and quarterly reports on overall progress.
∎ Work closely with MOH&FW, including Directorate General of Health Services, other related directorates, partner NGOs and health facilities to support them to plan and implement the Test to Treat pilot.
∎ Support the team to ensure that activities are on track, including:
∎ o Capacity building of partner NGOs
∎ o Capacity building of health facility staff
∎ o Timely distribution of COVID-19 rapid antigen tests and medications to appropriate facilities and communities
∎ o Rapid rollout of community sensitization and mobilization activities
∎ o Knowledge management and project documentation
∎ Participate in RISE global meetings and webinars, and share lessons from country implementation
∎ Develop and implement a phase out plan for the major activities.
∎ Support the MOH&FW to strengthen support for rapid testing at lower level, and inclusion of oral antivirals in the new sector plan and operations plan.
∎ Support the finance team in ensuring compliance with USAID standards.
∎ Develop strong relationships with key external and internal stakeholders including government officials, affiliated institutes, and partners working in the COVID-19 projects in Bangladesh and beyond.
∎ Take on other work responsibilities from time to time as required for program implementation.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 8-10 years professional experience managing projects, USAID project experience preferred.
∎ Familiarity with public sector, preferably Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
∎ Budget preparation, review and overall management experience.
∎ Extensive knowledge of Bangladesh public sector administration, financing and human resource planning preferred.
∎ Familiarity with Health sector wide approach (SWAP) and operational plans preferred
∎ Good oral and written communication skills in both English & Bengali.
∎ Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary and multicultural group of colleagues and external stakeholders.
∎ Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision.
∎ Creative, flexible, and resourceful and able to cope with logistical challenges.
∎ Ability to travel anywhere within Bangladesh at a short notice.
