Job Responsibilities:
∎ This position will be mainly responsible for maintaining Agresso accounting system, posting day-to-day accounts payables and general journal vouchers, preparation of final accounts and assist teams that are working with NGOAB and donor financial reports.
∎ Responsibilities include; s/he will be maintaining FMS Master data, checking accounting and financial data in FMS, creating codes as per Management Accounting structure and control accounts maintenance and preparation of journals.
∎ S/he will also work on month end process and ensure completeness of various accounting schedules and ensure accounts reconciliation
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 4 years of working experience in the field of Accounting/Finance
∎ S/he is expected to have advanced knowledge on accounting and all of its components, particularly final accounts preparation and maintenance of accounting software.
∎ Excellent analytical skills, high level of integrity and sense of maintaining confidentiality is required
∎ Excellent computer operating skills, especially in MS Excel and accounting software
∎ Experience with any Save the Children financial systems (Agresso) will be added advantage
