∎ At least 3–5 years of experience in implementing agriculture, livelihoods, food security, or resilience programs, preferably in humanitarian or refugee settings.
∎ Experience working with INGOs, NGOs, or development organizations in camp-based or emergency response programs.
∎ Prior experience in cash-based transfer (CBT) programs, including cash-for-work initiatives, is preferred.
∎ Proven experience in community mobilization, stakeholder coordination, and capacity-building activities.
∎ Should have technical skills on agriculture practices and interventions, technical knowledge on poultry farming and vegetable gardening.
∎ Should have professional writing and speaking capacity in English and Bangla
∎ Proficient with MS office suite

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead and organize the launching of agricultural initiatives, ensuring participation from key stakeholders, including CiC, camp leaders, site management officials, and community representatives.
∎ Establish collaboration with local authorities to gain necessary permissions for activities such as construction/renovation of Green Skills Development (GSD) training centers and other interventions.
∎ Oversee the construction/renovation of GSD training centers to facilitate agricultural skill training for beneficiaries.
∎ Supervise the setup and maintenance of Green Skills Demonstration plots in targeted camps, ensuring that they serve as a practical model for participants to establish their own homestead gardens.
∎ Oversee facilitation of homestead gardening for refugee households across 9 camps by organizing skill training sessions, ensuring distribution of agri-inputs (seeds, manure, materials), and providing cash-for-work initiatives.
∎ Coordinate the provision of agricultural inputs (seeds, bamboo, trellis nets, ropes, sacks, manure) for 2 seasons (Rabi and Kharip), based on seasonal crop calendars in consultation with WFP.
∎ Monitor the advanced agricultural technology (PVC pipe gardening) pilot and poultry farming initiatives, ensuring effective implementation and evaluating their potential for scaling up.
∎ Design and deliver agricultural skills training programs for beneficiaries, including specialized training on homestead gardening, poultry farming, and advanced agricultural techniques.
∎ Provide ongoing technical support to participants through regular visits, coaching, and ensuring proper garden setup and maintenance.
∎ Facilitate cooking demonstrations to promote the nutritional benefits of vegetables and support healthy consumption practices.
∎ Develop and implement a monitoring system to track progress, identify challenges, and ensure the timely implementation of agricultural initiatives.
∎ Regularly monitor the performance of gardens, poultry farms, and agricultural interventions, offering solutions for improving productivity and sustainability.
∎ Prepare and submit detailed reports on the progress of the agriculture-related components of the project to the Project Manager and other relevant stakeholders

∎ PROTTYASHI, a social development organization has been working for the development of disadvantaged population of the country since its establishment with an aim to ensure everyone to live with dignity and prosperity. PROTTYASHI reaches the community with basic needs and supports to save lives and facilitate all the people of the community to live with equal value and priority. PROTTYASHI works for the disadvantaged portion of the population in community addressing their pressing needs following the strategies contextually viable and environmentally sustainable. PROTTYASHI has been actively supporting the refugee population in the humanitarian response in Cox’s Bazar as one of the first responders since August 2017. PROTTYASHI has been vigilantly supporting these crises affected population to accomplish its promised commitment towards humanity and people in distress.
∎ To ensure improved food security for the refugee population helping them to meet nutritional requirement in an environmentally sustainable manner, PROTTYASHI is going to implement “Green skills Development” Activity of WFP Cox’s Bazar Resilience Programme in selected refugee camps. PROTTYASHI invites applications for the vacant position titled- Senior Officer (MIS & MEAL) for the Project and encourages the persons enthusiastic to contribute to the increased resilience of the humanitarian crisis affected refugee population in Bangladesh. This position will be responsible for ensuring program quality through structured monitoring and data management system.
∎ Reporting
∎ Senior Officer (Agriculture) will report to Project Manager. S/He has to maintain functional relationship with his/her peers, project teams and organization’s other priority teams. S/He must be able to communicate with other teams and units both program and operational of the organization.
∎ Key Responsibilities

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Salary and benefits: Monthly Gross Salary will be 65,630 BDT with contributory provident fund 3120 BDT, monthly bonus 6250 BDT and regular traveling and communication bill.
