∎ Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in both Bengali and English.

∎ Excellent skills on computer packages.
∎ Knowledge on data management, survey design and implementation.
∎ Advanced knowledge of STATA or any other statistical packages.
∎ Ability to work with diverse constituencies.
∎ Analytical and demonstrated ability to write reports and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
∎ Team building (positive reinforcement, collaboration and partnering).
∎ Minimum 05 years of experience in public health field/research sector (publication in peer-reviewed journals will add additional value).

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Planning and execution of projects to attain the specified objective.
∎ Coordinate and monitor research study activities, including project management, regulatory submissions and Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval, data quality assurance, detection and correction of any deviation from organizational protocols.
∎ Provide on the job training, supervision and mentoring to the project staff for developing professional capacity.
∎ Liaise with government officials and NGO workers at district and upazila level for effective partnership with government and NGO partners as well as coordination and communication with different project stakeholder such as IEDCR, ICDDRB, MORU, BRAC University, and other organizations.
∎ Ensure effective establishment of appropriate coordination mechanisms with different stakeholder aligned with project guidance, technical standards, human rights, and legal obligations.
∎ Conduct literature reviews for developing research protocols and identifying existing evidence relevant to research project and ensure the dissemination of research results when they are made available.
∎ Monitor the contents of storage facilities related to project materials, including biological samples and ensure their safe transportation to Mahidol University on a periodic basis.
∎ Ensure timely and quality implementation of the project activities, and effective monitoring to track the achievement of overall project objectives in the selected study area.
∎ Review project related emerging problems which are forwarded by the field staff and take necessary step to resolve them on priority basis.
∎ Facilitate senior management in tracking progress against supply chain, finance, audit and operations to ensure routine follow up, high quality, on-time data collection, and budget tracking.
∎ Attend monthly meeting with Donors and need base meeting with project management team.
∎ Ensure high quality project reports (narrative, indicator tracking, and financial) are submitted timely in order to track progress, measure impact, enhance accountability and inform future programming according to donor and BRAC requirements.
∎ JOB PURPOSE: Oversee effective research project implementation, achievement of outcomes and alignment of project with the national programme to eliminate Malaria by 2030 from Bangladesh.

∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
