1. Professional certification in CIA, ACA, ACCA, or ACMA will be preferable.

1. Lead the creation of a risk-based internal audit plan tailored to the real estate industry.
2. Design and continuously refine the risk & control matrix for each audit, ensuring alignment with sector-specific challenges and opportunities.
3. Conduct and document detailed internal audit projects, analyzing and evaluating relevant information to achieve audit objectives efficiently.
4. Deliver precise, objective, and constructive audit reports that are clear, concise, and timely.
5. Assess independently the adequacy and effectiveness of Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks, ensuring high-quality audit reviews are completed on schedule.
6. Collaborate with auditees to develop actionable recommendations for mitigating control issues and risks, managing the resolution process to ensure effective implementation.
7. Maintain a comprehensive system to track and ensure that management responses to audit findings are implemented successfully.
8. Stay updated on evolving audit methodologies, best practices, and regulatory requirements relevant to the real estate market.
9. Develop a deep understanding of the company’s strategic goals, operational processes, and external factors affecting the industry.
10. Establish and maintain effective relationships with process owners and management to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls and operational processes.
