Job Context:
∎ Location: Mohakhali campus, Dhaka.
∎ Contract Type and duration: Fixed Term basis; duration will be 2 Years with a possibility of extension subject to availability of fund and performance.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conceptualize, design, and produce a wide range of specialized graphic, typesetting, and/or illustrative material, Static/Motion/GIF content, to include multimedia concepts; writes and edits basic copy through professional Adobe Illustrator/ Photoshop/ After Effects;
∎ Design content like infographics, research briefs, policy briefs, knowledge briefs, and reports for scientific health research for multiple audiences including donors, government agencies, media houses, policy-makers, and the mass;
∎ Brainstorm design and preparing draft; Share draft with concerns for proof-reading and feedback; Make changes and finalize the design;
∎ Campaign ideation, strategy, plan, and development of Key Visuals in many professional formats e.g. sketching, illustrating, image manipulation, etc.
∎ Prepare outputs for multiple media including press and digital print (reports, brochures, flyers), digital media (websites, GDN banners, online Ad platforms) and social media content (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter), event collaterals (banners, backdrops, flyers, brochures etc.)
∎ Work with respective team to identify, select, and coordinate vendors for printing and publication services, as appropriate to the project;
∎ Raise proposals for printing requisitions; identifies and recommends contractors, such as typesetters, printers, illustrators, photographers, and/or cartographers.
∎ Oversee and coordinate the production process; develop and provide printing and/or other production specifications;
∎ Select appropriate production media and materials, such as ink and paper; inspect proofs for accuracy and adherence to appropriate production standards.
∎ Provide creative and technical advice and guidance, and serve as liaison with production personnel, authors, publishers, clients, and/or printing representatives on permission information, design and technical graphics issues.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 years working experience in Graphic Design, Printing, Press & Pre-press related activities in renowned Company
Salary:
∎ Annual 8,24,820/- inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances and other admissible benefits
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ 14.8% provident fund contribution, income tax paid by icddr,b, children allowance @Tk.1,917/- per child per month, festival bonus, contributory healthcare support including dependent spouse and children, group life insurance, and subsidized canteen. Transport and daycare facilities are subject to space availability.
