Job Summary

The Senior Executive for POP, Branch and Regulatory Affairs will manage the operations and optimization of Points of Presence (POPs) and branch offices while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in the ISP and IIG sectors. This role includes overseeing branch operations, maintaining network performance, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, and driving customer satisfaction. The position also involves collaboration with technical, business development, and regulatory teams to align operational goals with organizational objectives and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

POP Management

  • Oversee operations and maintenance of POPs, ensuring maximum uptime and optimal network performance.
  • Manage the setup, installation, and troubleshooting of network equipment and infrastructure at POP sites.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, government policies, and regulatory requirements across all POP locations.

Branch Operations and Affairs

  • Supervise day-to-day activities at branch offices, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and operational efficiency.
  • Assist branch managers in resolving technical, operational, and administrative issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of internet and connectivity services at branch offices.

Network Optimization and Maintenance

  • Partner with network engineers and IT teams to maintain top-notch network performance, focusing on POPs and branch-level networks.
  • Monitor and analyze network traffic, usage trends, and performance metrics to identify and implement improvements.
  • Enforce best practices for network security, reliability, and scalability to support evolving business needs.

Regulatory Affairs

  • Ensure adherence to local and international regulatory frameworks for all operations in the ISP and IIG sectors.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to uphold compliance with data protection laws, security standards, and other government regulations.
  • Act as a point of contact with regulatory bodies, addressing compliance issues and maintaining updated documentation.

Business Development and Customer Engagement

  • Support business development teams in expanding POP locations and enhancing branch operational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement customer engagement strategies to improve user experience, reduce churn, and boost satisfaction.
  • Monitor customer feedback, address service delivery issues, and collaborate with branches to ensure exceptional customer support.

Collaboration and Coordination

  • Liaise between corporate headquarters and regional branches to align objectives and streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to roll out localized campaigns and promotional activities at branch locations.
  • Facilitate training programs for branch staff on new services, technologies, and operational processes.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels at POPs and branches and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with branch managers to maintain high-quality customer service delivery standards.
