Experience:
Identify new business opportunities (new markets, new products, new business with existing clients, acquisitions, etc.) by conducting market research and studies to develop actionable strategies for expanding the company’s business footprint in Bangladesh and beyond.
Maintain an active and sustainable pipeline of potential clients through effective networking, market visits, and follow-ups.
Conduct professional presentations and organize site visits for prospective clients to showcase K & A Logistics` capabilities.
Build and nurture strong, cordial, and long-term relationships with potential and existing clients.
Expand the existing customer base and continuously explore new avenues for revenue generation.
Explore, conceptualize, and develop new logistics and freight-related services relevant to the Bangladeshi market.
Monitor market and industry trends, analyze competitor data, and establish information channels to support strategic decision-making for gaining a competitive edge.
Assist in the development of a growth-oriented International Freight business plan and annual departmental budget.
Ensure targets are met or exceeded through market alignment, strategic pricing, performance monitoring, and timely corrective measures.
Identify potential customers, trade lanes, and service gaps. Develop new products and services aligned with Bangladesh’s market conditions and opportunities.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers, Bangladeshi government authorities, regulatory bodies, and key logistics partners.
Represent K & A Logistics at industry events, forums, and exhibitions to strengthen the company’s presence and reputation.
Manage key accounts by ensuring high-quality service delivery, setting up SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) in coordination with overseas partners, conducting regular client interactions, and identifying upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
Monitor and control operational expenses monthly, ensuring profitability by identifying cost-drivers and taking corrective action when needed.
Ensure full compliance with local and international logistics regulations, statutory requirements, and internal company policies to uphold business continuity, reduce legal exposure, and safeguard company reputation.
Enforce company credit policy across all client dealings to ensure healthy payback periods and maintain positive cash flows.
Assist in safeguarding company assets through proactive guidance on asset use, minimizing misuse and preserving confidentiality.
Stay well-informed about departmental operations. Share accurate and relevant information during internal meetings and maintain transparency with stakeholders for performance reviews and decision-making.
Set ambitious departmental goals aligned with the overall corporate strategy.
Provide regular feedback and performance evaluations to support team growth and accountability.
Participate actively in company and departmental initiatives, promote open communication, recognize employee contributions, and foster a positive, motivating workplace culture.
