• 7–12 years’ relevant experience in Interior Design, Architecture,  Constructionor Real Estate.

• Strong knowledge of Architectural/Interior Design, RCC, MEP & project coordination.

• Knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off, materials & basic costing.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion/D5, Photoshop & MS Office.Good knowledge of BNBC, building codes & fire safety.

• Strong design, coordination, communication & problem-solving skills.

Job Context:

Area Architects & Interior Ltd. is looking for a creative, technically capable and project-oriented Architect – Interior Design & Project Coordination to join our team.

The position will be responsible for supporting the design development, architectural and interior documentation, working drawings, 3D visualization, technical coordination and project execution of residential, commercial, corporate, furniture, renovation and modification projects.

The role offers an opportunity to work across the complete project cycle—from concept development and design documentation to site coordination, material selection, BOQ, construction monitoring and final handover—while working closely with architects, interior designers, engineers, consultants, contractors, clients and internal project teams.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of architectural and interior design, working drawings, construction detailing, AutoCAD/3D software, BOQ and site coordination, with the ability to convert design concepts into practical and executable project solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and support architectural and interior design concepts for residential, commercial, corporate, furniture, renovation, and modification projects.
• Prepare and review plans, elevations, sections, working drawings, construction details, specifications, and 3D models using relevant design software.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, civil, MEP, interior, and construction requirements to ensure proper design integration.
• Participate in client meetings, design presentations, site visits, requirement analysis, and project coordination.
• Coordinate with architects, interior designers, engineers, consultants, contractors, sourcing teams, and other stakeholders for timely project execution.
• Monitor project implementation and review architectural, interior, finishing, facade, flooring, ceiling, doors/windows, and furniture works against approved drawings and specifications.
• Review shop drawings, material samples, technical specifications, and contractor submissions and assist in resolving design and coordination issues.
• Assist in BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, material selection, cost estimation, project scheduling, and resource planning.
• Identify design and project-related issues and coordinate with relevant teams to develop practical technical and design solutions.
• Maintain drawings, revisions, project records, meeting notes, site reports, as-built drawings, and handover documentation.
• Ensure project designs and works comply with BNBC, applicable building regulations, fire safety requirements, project specifications, quality standards, and company standards.
• Support the Project Manager/Architect in project planning, coordination, progress monitoring, and successful project completion.
