Graduation/Post Graduation in Accounting/relevant discipline
At least 2 years’ experience in same position in Development Organizations-NGOs
Basic Computer skills especially MS Word, Excel with Bangla (Bijoy) and English Typing is mandatory.

Ability to work under-pressure, meet deadlines, priorities workload and ‘multi-task’

Preferred Job Description/Responsibility
Maintain organizational accounts (Cash book, Bank book, Ledgers etc.)
Cash and bank dealings
Maintain projects accounts both manually and using accounting software independently
Prepare and maintain all the vouchers, requisition, slips & bills
Reconcile the Bank accounts regularly
Financial management/ Fund Management
Organizational & Project activities Budget & Cash flows projections
Prepare financial statements for management monthly, quarterly & yearly
Participate monthly/bi-monthly/quarterly/half-yearly/annual meeting as per need
Perform any other tasks assigned by the management
Supports budget, costing and forecasting activities
To plan, organize and conduct internal audit as guided by the management
To ensure all sorts of requisitions, delivery challan, bill, voucher etc, are being checked and verified in the prescribed manner
To check and verify all financial transactions with reference to companies laid down policies, rules & delegation of power.
Ensure compliance of VAT & Tax before/after distributing invoice
To carry out physical verification of fixed assets and reconcile the result of physical verification with the books and records
To reconcile the various subsidiary ledgers with the general ledgers from time to time
To dictate the accounts officer on the basis of budget & donor requirements as well as NGO like preparation voucher, supporting etc
To communicate with NGO Bureau with regard to approval of budget of audit reports
To communicate with the external auditors & along with drafts audit reports on behalf of Donor, NGO, Organization
To be prepare financial reports by the half yearly & annual for donor
