Job Responsibilities:
∎ Security Planning: Develop and implement security plans and procedures.
∎ Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and identify potential security vulnerabilities.
∎ Supervision: Oversee the work of Security Supervisors & Guards, ensuring they adhere to protocols and standards.
∎ Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of the plant area to ensure a safe and secured environment.
∎ Training: Provide training to security staff on security procedures, emergency response, and customer service.
∎ Scheduling: Develop and maintain security schedules, ensuring adequate coverage.
∎ Crisis Management: Lead crisis management efforts in response to security incidents.
∎ Security Audits: Conduct regular security audits to evaluate and improve security measures.
∎ Security Technology: Utilize and manage security technologies such as CCTV, access control systems, metal detector, walky-talky, alarms, etc.
∎ Policy Development: Contribute to the development and updating of security policies.
∎ Communication: Liaise with other departments, law enforcement, and management regarding security matters.
∎ People Management: Manage attendance and leave of security personnel.
∎ Others: Perform any other duties under the direction of the management, if necessary.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 10-12 years of experience as Security Officer/In-Charge in any reputed organization.
∎ Training: Completion of advanced security training program, crisis management courses, and Fire Fighting training.
∎ Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage a team of security personnel.
∎ Management Skills: Strong management and organizational skills for overseeing security operations.
∎ Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze security risks, develop plans, and implement effective solutions.
∎ Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as Security Officers often interact with various stakeholders, including senior management and external agencies.
∎ Physical Fitness: Good physical condition, as the role may involve standing for long periods and physical patrolling.
