Conduct complex laboratory analyses (e.g., Molecular testing, RT-PCR, advanced Biochemistry, or Immunology) as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Review and validate test results for accuracy before they are released to pathologists or clinicians.
Identify and resolve technical issues with automated analyzers or manual assay procedures.
Assist in the standardization and validation of new diagnostic kits or laboratory protocols.Monitor daily internal QC and participate in External Quality Assurance (EQA) programs.
Supervise the calibration and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Help to Draft, update, and ensure strict adherence to technical SOPs and biosafety guidelines.
Supervise Medical Technologists (Lab) and junior staff to ensure workflow efficiency.
Help to manage the procurement and inventory of reagents and lab consumables to prevent service disruptions.
Notify department heads or supervisors of abnormal findings or critical laboratory conditions.
