Responsibilities & Context:
Sales & Customer Service
Assist patients/customers in purchasing prescribed and over-the-counter medicines.
Explain product details, usage, dosage (as per prescription), and storage.
Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a helpful and polite attitude.
Prescription Handling
Ensure medicines are sold strictly against valid prescriptions.
Cross-check prescription details before delivering the medicines.
Guide patients to pharmacists for clarification when needed.
Product Knowledge
Stay updated on medicines, health products, and promotions.
Maintain hygiene and safety standards at the counter.
Ensure controlled substances are handled as per legal requirements.
Work closely with pharmacists, doctors, and hospital staff.
Support pharmacy operations like billing, returns, and documentation.
