Responsibilities & Context:

• Actively contribute to achieving the ultimate business goals

• Receive medicines from the inbound team and organise them properly in the designated racks, updating the inventory in the software accordingly.

• Pick the correct medicines from the warehouse based on customer orders and prepare them accurately for delivery.

• Ensure 100% accuracy in medicine dispensing and shelving, especially for similar dosages, temperature-sensitive medicines, and high-risk items.

• Update medicine locations in both the physical rack and the software when necessary.

• Accurately enter medicine details into the software and shelve them properly to maintain organized inventory.

• Strictly follow the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method in all medicine shelving and dispensing processes.

• Maintain proper cold chain management for temperature-sensitive medicines and handle all medicines with care to avoid any damage.

• Adhere to high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security in the workplace.

• Perform any additional tasks assigned by management as required.

• Selling medicines as per doctor’s prescription

• Ensuring correct medicine, dosage, and quantity

• Maintaining proper storage of medicines (temperature, expiry date, batch number)

• Checking and removing expired or damaged medicines

• Keeping daily sales records and cash handling

• Managing stock inventory and re-ordering

• Maintaining cleanliness and discipline in the pharmacy

• Assisting customers with basic medicine-related queries (non-clinical)

Requirements

Education

Diploma in Medical in Pharmacy

Diploma in Medical in Pharmaceutical Technology

The candidate should have a Diploma in pharmacy / B or C Category Pharmacist with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or 2nd division/ class or equivalent result in all academic examinations from any recognized institution.

Proven Experience & have genuine license as a pharmacist.

Experience

2 to 5 years

The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Healthcare/Lifestyle product, Healthcare Startup, Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies, Diagnostic Centre, Hospital

1–3 years of experience preferred in: Retail pharmacy, Hospital pharmacy, Medicine shop

Basic knowledge of generic & brand medicines

Ability to read and understand medical prescriptions

Ability to work in shifts (day/night)
