Requirements & Skills:
- Proven experience in FMCG sales, preferably in edible oils, spices, or flour products.
- Negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Basic knowledge of FMCG market trends.
Responsibilities & Context:
Sales & Business Development:
- Actively promote and sell products to existing and new customers.
- Identify and approach potential clients (retailers, distributors, supermarkets, bulk buyers).
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets as per company goals.
- Conduct product demonstrations and sampling to attract customers.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly.
- Ensure timely order processing and delivery coordination.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
- Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Provide feedback on pricing, demand, and new product opportunities.
- Suggest promotional strategies to increase sales.
Distribution & Inventory Management:
- Ensure product availability in assigned territories by coordinating with distributors.
- Monitor stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Assist in merchandising and product display at retail outlets.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate sales records, customer data, and sales reports.
- Submit daily/weekly sales reports to the sales manager.
- Track expenses and sales performance.
