• Business Development: Actively seek new sales opportunities through market research, cold calling, networking, and customer visits.

• Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients (both freight forwarders and direct cargo owners) to ensure repeat business and identify upselling opportunities.

• Sales Targets: Meet and exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas and volume targets.

• Negotiation and Quoting: Prepare and present freight quotations, negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to ensure mutual satisfaction and profitability.

• Market Intelligence: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities, sharing this commercial intelligence with internal teams to adapt strategies.

• Coordination and Follow-up: Collaborate with internal departments (operations, customer service, finance, and documentation) to ensure seamless end-to-end shipment execution and address client issues promptly.

• Reporting and Administration: Maintain detailed and accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress in CRM systems, and prepare regular sales forecasts and performance reports.

• Promoting Services: Effectively promote new services, e-commerce solutions, and value-added services offered by the shipping line.
